I started freelancing with one goal: To provide the Church with access to an affordable, professional, and personable designer without compromising in any of those areas. I worked for my University Parish's Newman Center right after graduating college with a degree in Graphic Design. The position wasn't justifiable as a full-time job so I had to wear many hats, and they couldn't afford to pay me half of what I would've made in the corporate world. Nonetheless, I accepted the opportunity. It was there that I discovered my passion for bringing ministry work out of a clearly dated era and into an engaging, visual new world where visual communication is everything. It's truly possible to have an engaging parish website that doesn't cost the entire year's budget, or a quarterly newsletter that shows your stewards the incredible work you are doing. You are allowed to have a social media presence without feeling like just another scroll session.
